KCM Trade Plus Strengthens Supports for Youth Exchange Initiatives Between China and Australia

June 11, 2025

Fostering Cross-Border Talent and Cultural Synergy

KCM Trade Plus has long recognised the importance of international cultural exchange and talent development as key drivers of sustainable growth. In line with this commitment, its Australian office has actively partnered with the Australia-China Youth Association (ACYA) to support a broad spectrum of academic and commercial initiatives. Through multifaceted collaborations, the company facilitates meaningful intercultural and cross-sector engagement among young people from both nations, earning commendation from local youth organisations.

The Australia-China Youth Association is a well-established bilateral organisation comprising over 6,000 members across both countries and operating 26 chapters. Its strategic partnerships with major global entities—including the Bank of China, ANZ, and Grant Thornton—highlight its influence in developing globally capable talent and fostering institutional cooperation.

Last year, Jason Lau, Managing Director of KCM Trade Plus, was invited as a guest speaker at an ACYA-hosted career outlook seminar, where he joined leaders from Deloitte and PwC to discuss “Personal Branding and Global Career Opportunities.” Lau shared practical insights on building professional resilience and enhancing marketability in an increasingly globalised economy.

Event Highlights and Key Figures

  • Highlights: Over 100 students and industry professionals participated in the seminar, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback:
  • Feedback: 91% of attendees stated the event exceeded their expectations;
  • Outlook: 90% expressed strong interest in attending similar events in the future, citing the value of targeted career advice.

KCM Trade Plus received widespread recognition and praise from students, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable career insights and support provided. This event not only showcased KCM Trade Plus’s leadership in the industry but also further strengthened the brand’s influence and visibility among university students and future professionals

Looking Ahead: Development Through Cultural and Intellectual Exchange

In 2025, KCM Trade Plus and ACYA are set to launch a series of joint programs, including a simulated trading competition and foundational trading courses. These initiatives aim to engage more student organizations from leading universities, further expanding the impact and reach of their collaboration.

KCM Trade Plus firmly believes that youth are the cornerstone of future societal progress. The company remains committed to empowering young individuals by building platforms for cross-cultural exchange and career advancement, enabling them to pursue their goals and unlock their full potential.
