October 14, 2025

With a Global Vision, Lighting the Way to a Brighter Future

Staying true to its commitment to corporate social responsibility, KCM Trade actively supports global talent development, community and cultural exchange, child welfare, and environmental protection, with footprints spanning Hong Kong, Australia, Thailand, and beyond. This year, the Group is proud to participate in Orbis World Sight Day 2025 on 9 October 2025, an event dedicated to raising global awareness of eye health and  preventing avoidable blindness, while helping underprivileged communities gain access to proper treatment.

Jason Lau, Managing Director of KCM Trade Plus, stated: “Eye health is closely tied to one’s vision and opportunities in life. With a global perspective, KCM Trade drives charitable initiatives, joining hands with colleagues across the company to bring light to more corners of the world and to help those in need see again.”

World Sight Day, initiated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), is dedicated to raising public awareness of eye health and promoting accessible and affordable eye care services. Through this year’s participation, KCM Trade will focus its actions across three key areas: advocacy, employee involvement, and resource support. These efforts will concentrate on preventable and treatable vision conditions, encouraging healthier habits such as regular eye check-ups and responsible eye care within society.

Looking ahead, KCM Trade will continue to expand its CSR initiatives into more countries and regions, carrying forward its philosophy of “creating business value while sharing social well-being.” Through consistent action, we aim to spread positive impact and contribute to sustainable development.
