“Five-Minute Miracle Repair” Showcases True Team Spirit
On 30–31 August, the KCM Trade x TRC Drift Team travelled to Japan’s Kansai OiBuki Circuit to compete in Formula Drift Japan 2 (FDJ2). Racers Ken Yeung and Ryan delivered steady, assured performances, with the whole team shining on track. In a dramatic moment, the crew executed a “five-minute extreme repair” that enabled a TRC teammate to stage a crucial comeback and advance to the quarter-finals, sparking excitement among spectators. As a global online trading service provider known for professionalism and efficiency, KCM Trade translated its core values into the racing arena, demonstrating executional excellence and teamwork.
Five-Minute Extreme Repair Sets New Benchmark in Trackside Efficiency
Facing fierce competition from leading Japanese teams, Ken Yeung showed composure and precision, advancing to the Top 16, while Ryan’s technical skill earned recognition from the judges. During the battle for a quarter-final spot, another TRC car suffered a differential failure. While still managing their own race, KCM Trade swiftly mobilised support, integrating with TRC’s pit crew operations. In just 300 seconds, the team replaced a component normally requiring around 30 minutes and 21 high-tensile bolts. This record-breaking, “trade-grade” efficiency highlighted the squad’s professionalism, speed, and team spirit.
A Model of Teamwork
KCM Trade x TRC racer Ken Yeung commented that achieving a flawless, zero-delay repair under high pressure was both a technical and psychological triumph. He emphasised that the drift team and pit crew together demonstrated world-class professionalism and execution.
Extending Brand Values
The team’s performance embodies the essence of motorsport: precision, agility, and an unyielding will to push forward. KCM Trade aims to carry this same spirit of collaboration and execution into delivering even stronger global client services and trading experiences.
